Joseph P. Jr.  passed away on September 9, 2022.  Husband of 51 years to Shirley A. (nee Cummins). Loving dad of Shirley Russo (Scott), Mary Bartol (John), Joseph Poniatowski (Nicole Nejman), Michael Poniatowski and Mark Poniatowski.  Poppy of Brittany A. Jenkins (Michael), Erin Murray, Arianna, Declan, Noah, Ethan Michael and Charlotte Poniatowski.  Brother of Rita Foley (John) and Mary Poniatowski.  Joe was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Rita (nee Young) and his sister Anne Dougherty.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Sept. 21st Wednesday Evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reilly Rakowski Funeral Home 2632-34 E. Allegheny Ave. Phila., PA 19134 and Sept. 22nd Thursday from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Nativity BVM Church 2535 E. Allegheny Ave. Phila., PA 19134.  Funeral Mass 10:30 AM.  Interment with full military honors at 1:00 PM Washington Crossing National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations to Tunnels to Towers Foundation 2361 Hylan Blvd. Staten Island, NY 10306 would be appreciated.
