K O W A L C Z Y K Stephen "MO" on March 28, 2022. Husband of 40 years to Mary Anne (nee Horst) Kowalczyk. Loving Father of Laura Kowalczyk and Lisa Russell (Jason). Pop Pop of Tyler Russell. Brother of Theresa Shade (David) and David Kowalczyk. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Growing up in Mayfair, Mo was the middle child of a close-knit family. He went to Judge and hung out with his friends at Allen Yard. His “Schoolyard” family ties remain strong, celebrating each other’s lives and are there for each other through the good times and hard times. He was a quiet prankster that fit in everywhere he went. His happy place was any beach he could get to, especially when a storm was rolling in. He loved sports and played on too many teams to count as a kid, continuing his love as an adult playing golf and in his billiards league. Mo met the love of his life, Mary Anne, at Buckets Two and they were married for 40 years. They had two daughters who adored him. Most recently, Mo was overjoyed to be the best Pop-Pop to his little buddy, Tyler. Dubbed “Macguyver Mo”, he was a fixer of all things and always one to jump in to help, maintaining and remodeling their family home. He was a teacher, role model, and the most loyal friend. He will be missed by so many, but will never be forgotten. Remember the Mo. Family and friends are invited to his viewing Monday April 4th 9:00 AM at ST.
