Margaret Mary McIlhenny Montague May 13, 1949 – December 2, 2021 Margaret (Margie) 72, was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia. Margie went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at home surrounded by the love of her family. Margie was born May 13, 1949 to the late Francis McIlhenny and Elizabeth Graham. She attended Nativity and Nativity Business School and studied at Temple University. She was employed at PSFS for 26 years. More importantly, she was the wife & partner of the late Eugene Montaque Sr. Until his passing on May 28, 2011. Gene was the love of her life. She was preceded in death her granddaughter Brieanna; 2 brothers, Francis and Edward McIlhenny. 4 sisters, Elizabeth Baraniecki, Anna Sweeney, Eileen Fannon and Teresa Vandivier. Margaret is survived by 2 Sons; Eugene McIlhenny and wife Lotomoua McIlhenny of AZ. Patrick McIlhenny and wife Thearis Mcilhenny-Brown of Ga. 13 Grandchildren; Leilani, Lea, Eugene (Leka), Ivana, Molimau, Cierra, Jamal, Aquil, Alayna, Patick (PJ), Patrick (LP), Amira and Khalid. 9 Great grandchildren; Makenna, Sundae, Celina, Chasen, Vika, Tiumalu, Eugene, Kiana and Trevor. A sister, Dolores Courchain of Warminster, Pa. Brothers; Daniel McIlhenny of Marshall, IN. Thomas McIlhenny of Philadelphia. And many, many nieces and nephews. Margie’s true passion was always her family and friends. She was a fun, loving, caring, compassionate and generous person who just wanted to enjoy her life and help others. She will be forever in our hearts and missed dearly. Mass will be held Tuesday December 7, 2021 at 11:00am in Saint Adalbert’s R.C.C. 2645 E. Allegheny Ave. Philadelphia, PA. Viewing will be from 9:30 AM till 11:00 AM at the Church.
