Dear Angela and the McGuigan family,
We had the privilege of meeting John and Angela through mutual friends, Helen and Steve a couple of years ago on the beach in Wildwood. We spent a fun day on the beach together, followed by a delicious barbecue and a great night out on the town with their mutual friends. It was a perfect day!
Our hearts go out to both of your families. May the memories you share bring you some comfort in the days that lie ahead. Rest in peace John.
Sincerely,
Tom and Jacquie Jones from Canada

John, Up all night at Cedar and Cambria after the last bartender left standing just couldn't take it anymore. Singing every Stones song we knew until well past dawn. Fenway, Wrigley Field, Eire Pub and the Post. Fort Myers, Jersey shore, Bucks
county, and last but not least Port Richmond. And what a time it was. Use your connections to save me a front row seat. We're not sitting in the bleachers anymore. Godspeed.

HAVE NO WORDS TO EXPRESS MY SHOCK AND SORROW OF JOHN'S PASSING. YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW HE HAD THE DEMONS THAT HE DID WHEN YOU SAW HIM OR TALKED TO HIM. HE REALLY COULD BRIGHTEN UP A ROOM OR AN OCCASION JUST BY BEING THERE.ALTHOUGH I HADN'T SEEN HIM IN AWHILE,(I THINK ONE OF THE LAST TIMES WAS WHEN I PAINTED HIS HOUSE) HE WAS ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE YOU JUST ALWAYS KNEW WAS HAVING A GOOD TIME AND AS IT SEEMED, YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HIM. MY PRAYERS AND CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO ALL THE MCGUIGANS AND OF COURSE MY SISTERS, JUDY AND BEVY WHO WERE THERE IN HIS LIFE FOR MANY YEARS.THIS TRULY IS A HORRIBLE SHOCK AND I KNOW THERE WILL BE FAMILY AND FRIENDS HOISTING SOME BEERS IN HIS HONOR AND MEMORY AND I WILL BE ONE OF THEM. GOD BLESS YOU JOHN, I WILL MISS YOUR BOOMING SMILE, BOOMING VOICE AND BOOMING LAUGHTER. REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND! RICHIE CARL.
