I am so very sorry to hear about your Mother passing. Since my Mother went to high school with her, I have many memories of her. I remember your Dad and easily called up a picture of him just thinking about him now. I know she missed him and your brother and sister. I have no doubt Mom and Dad were both happy to see each other. He was a gentleman. I can here her softly saying, Jim, when she called his name. I know how much she loves her amazing family. Your brother, Jimmy taught me how to play chess. I missed him so much. I could not wait for another Cartin Baptism, Communion or whatever the occasion to see my good friend, Jimmy. I am sorry it took me so long to fing this. I used to love our long sweet conversations. We had St. Katherine Drexel Canonization. We both loved the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, where she was an honor guard and I was an associate of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament. My Dad appreciated all the times they worked for pro-life and babies together
. You know she loved babies. I remember you all as babies. Our world is not as bright without her. I do see Bernadette from time to time. I don't like approaching her at work. Please keep in touch. I will leave my phone number with Bernadette next time I see her. I would hate to lose touch from the family of a woman I knew all of my life and have such pleasant memories of her. You all also gave me my first car, even though it was said to be bad luck. I had 4 brothers and their friends and each time you looked out into the back yard, you would see an open hood and all these heads leaned into it and under the hood. They learned a lot from that white car.

Dear Bernidette and family,
It was always a pleasure to see your mother at all the Bonsal Blues concerts. I remember she always had a big smile and happy to see everyone. She was definitely your number one fan. I will miss her. I know your family has strong faith and she is in a very happy place with Our Lord. God Bless you and your family.

There is nothing but wonderful things that you can say about a woman whose children choose to give her a donkey as a birthday gift. She's an angel on earth -- that's it!!! Her spirit will live on forever in her children -- who are as special as she! You are a most wonderful family. Love, the LaGrottes
