Obituary of Joan E. Kane

KANE Joan E. (nee Remaily) on January 6, 2021. Loving wife of 51 years to the late Michael E. Kane. Devoted Mom to Margaret A. Gildein (Ernie), Michael P. Kane (Eileen), Edward M. Kane (Rose) and Mary E. Capper (Daniel). She was Granny to 13 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She was an active member of St. Joachim Parish, and was their dedicated cook and baker until she retired at the age of 75. Her last 13 years she resided at the FOP Senior Independent Living Facility on Byberry Rd. in Philadelphia. Interment will be private. There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Christopher Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joan’s memory to Cranaleith Spiritual Center, 13475 Proctor Rd. Phila. PA 19116.
