Obituary of Ann Marie Gillespie

G I L L E S P I E Ann Marie Gillespie (nee Foley) passed away in Northeastern PA with her family surrounding her on June 24, 2020. Ann Marie was the loving widow of Edward S. Gillespie. She is mourned by her daughter Ann Marie Kestel and her son-in-law Ken. Ann Marie was the sister of John F. Foley, William Foley and Margaret Meyer (nee Foley) all who had passed before her. Ann Marie was a lifetime resident of Port Richmond. She attended Nativity BVM grade school and then went on to Nativity BVM commercial school. Ann Marie’s greatest joy in life was being a wife and mother. She spent her life caring for her husband and daughter as a stay at home mom. All of the neighborhood children knew and loved her. She will be missed by many. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Wednesday, July 1st at 11:00 AM at Nativity BVM Church 2535 E. Allegheny Ave. Phila., PA 19134 with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12 PM. Interment will be at New Cathedral Cemetery.
